canon powershot attachable (lenses and things)?

spent alot of money working on the boat, but got some spare cash to treat mself to a camera now was looking at that a590 si and i thought i saw an attachable lens and I am wondering, can you do the same to the canon powershot a1000 is? anyways what do you think of the a1000

Ahhh as for css ive given up, to many retards on there and my notebook cant really handle the graphics. I guess ill get the a1000 looks a little more powerful than the a590... (goes and tries to find a dslr under $250)
