Hey Roy,
spent alot of money working on the boat, but got some spare cash to treat mself to a camera now was looking at that a590 si and i thought i saw an attachable lens and I am wondering, can you do the same to the canon powershot a1000 is? anyways what do you think of the a1000

Good to hear from you. Still playing CSS? I haven't played in a long time. Anyway I would highly recommend researching over at dpreview.com...for instance, here's a side-by-side comparison of the two cameras you mentioned:

Ahhh as for css ive given up, to many retards on there and my notebook cant really handle the graphics. I guess ill get the a1000 looks a little more powerful than the a590...
(goes and tries to find a dslr under $250)
