Critter pickings are getting slim but I managed a few shots before it got dark.

#1 Seed bug Ochrimnus mimulus

#2 Black blister beetle Epicautus pennsylvanica

#3 Same critter different area

Nice images, Kenny.   Your lighting is spot on (highlights the texture in the shell of the Black blister beetle)

FYI - you have a couple of dust bunnies on the sensor - left side (middle and upper quad)

Nice set Kenny...I like the last frame best.  Attack those dust specs with a healing brush  Grin

Any how, driving from north Houston on 290 back to Austin I must have hit 50 dragon flies...tons of dragons out there...lots of green darners.  Also, so a really neat event...right at 183/35 area we all saw thousands...swarms...looked like ashes falling at first, butterflies...the small painted lady-like butterflies.

Thanks for posting Kenny...just got back home from seeing U2 at the Reliant center.
