The wind.  'Nuff said?

Went down to Mercer Arboretum & Botanical Gardens this morning.  Had heard that the farfugium japonicum, leopard plant, was blooming and happy to find out that it is indeed.  These are a late bloomer of the asteraceae family and the critters, flies, bees etc. just love them.  Only problem was the darned wind.  Hard to shoot near lifesize today. :down:

LOL I will attest it's not easy getting a community rolling...only time will tell but I can definitally say from google analytics and registered user base it's picking up.  The more content the better since this forum engine is SEO friendly and many topics will come up in google searches.

Once it starts rolling more I would like to add the buy/sell module and a buy/sell board since that's an attractive feature.

For the past couple of weeks, I have been sanding and painting (and more sanding and painting) - refinishing my front door and my neighbor's (a joint project, and no Ii am not looking for more doors to work on  ).  The project has been a bit more than we initially anticipated, but close to finishing (I can now can say that I hate refinishing projects that involve molding!).  So I should start getting some free time to go shoot and process (still have images to process from my last trip).

I noticed that there have been many new members signing up, so hopefully we'll start getting so others to start showing their talents.
