Well, after trying to edit 26+mb Canon RAW files from my 5D MkII and render 1080p video to DVD on my 6 year-old P4 2.8ghz HT with 2gig of RAM I knew it was time for a new computer

The i7 is supposed to be the best consumer proc out there for multi-threaded application use. This system should last me another 6 years.

Gee Roy, for a guy who builds macro lighting jigs and attempts to repair/replace a camera shuuter assembly, I figured you would
build
your own PC.
