Wow - that's an incredible price. Pentax is trying really hard to take some market share from Nikon and Canon. The feature set on the K7 is easily on par with, if not superior to, the D300s, and you can get the Pentax body and a lens for hundreds less.

Agree...did some digging and the body only is $899...this body is probably the best built and weather-sealed of all as well, but you are right, the features packed in this guy is great.  Mike Harris could attest to this for sure.
