Blue Morpho - an interesting name for a butterfly, but aptly named.  The first image is the butterfly with the wings closed, and the second is with the wings open - I guess you can see why it was named as such.
    
These image were taken at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden's butterfly exhibit (going on until 04 Apr 10).  All C&C is welcomed and appreciated.

Thanks Roy.  It was a very good photo op to go to -- very hot and humid in the enclosure - fogged the lens initially (the organizers had the fore-thought to place several hair dryers in the area to help dry off the condensation and get the lens up to temperature).  I just started processing the images (and it was a good break from my painting chores).  More to come.
