Just posting this as a holding container. Canon released a highly anticipated firmware update to the Canon EOS 5D Mark 2 camera which added 24/25p and additional audio functions for video capture. There are two current issues:
1. Some people that thought they had the complete firmware download file actually tried to flash their 5D MkII's and broke their cameras because it was a corrupt file. This was due to the heavy demand on the servers hosting the file. My intentions are to grab the new release as soon as it becomes available and host it on this server for an alternate location to download.
2. There's a known issue with audio while shooting in the C1/2/3 modes and that is there is no audio captured or rendered.
