Well I finally upgraded. I have moved from my D90 to a D300s and picked up a nikon 70-200 Vr1 as well. I thought the equipment learning curve was steep moving from a d60 to a d90, well I was wrong. The 300s has an amazing amount of features that is going to take a while to learn it all. However I do love a good adventure and this should keep me quite busy for a while.

yeah I'm having some fun with the new stuff, but now I've got to sell the D90 and a few lenses to fund a nikon 24-70. Then I'll be happy.... poorer but happy lol.

questor, okay man show us some stuff...haven't seen you around in awhile.

Riley, welcome to The MotleyPixel.  What kind of photography stuff are you into?  I checked out your Lighting/Energy website and although it has nothing to do with photography it a pretty interesting site.

That's for sure.  Doggoned Nikon pro zooms are pricey, aren't they?  If you haven't already considered it, you might want to try the older D-version of the 35-70.  Lot less expensive and still a good piece of glass.
