High capacity my ass!  This is my loss and your gain.  Be aware that I've read and experienced first hand that so many 3rd party LP-E6 batteries for the 5DMK2 are crap.  This one here:  <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001XB7WOC/ref=oss_product" rel="nofollow">www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001XB7WOC/ref=oss_product[/url]  Should be at least 1800mAH (even though it's not marked, the product may even be 2000mAH).  I just put this battery on my Triton charger/discharger and cycled it 4 times at 4mAH charge/discharge and the most I could ever get into the battery was 944mAH and it's a brand new battery.

The reason I decided to test this battery because I was planning on using it at an upcoming air show, but after this it will simply be an emergence backup.

I did just grab this one from eBay for $50 shipped:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250689646492

Thanks for passing on the info Roy.  I know it irks me when the product does not meet minimum standards; sometimes it is a test escape (having worked in the electronics world, I know they happen), but you always wonder if this is just the standard stuff they are shipping.

Yea John...I could be a fluke (ha, no pun intended), but if you read the comments on this battery sold from Amazon, there are a good number of negative comments saying the battery doesn't last long.  I use this Triton charger to test and cycle batteries a lot.  I got the charger mainly for charging LiPo batteries for my electric planes.
