So...
I currently own a D300s, D700s and a D3S
Lately I've been thinking about buying a 800mm lens
Could anyone give me a quick comparison between the:
http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/nikon/nikkoresources/telephotos/800mm.htm
and the:
http://www.sigmaphoto.com/shop/800mm-f56-ex-apo-dg-hsm-sigma

Thanks Smiley

Welcome to the forum!

Well, I can tell you this much...this is WAY out of my league and probably most others as well; however, I'd wager to bet the Sigma has some better IQ performances over the Nikkor...just a guess since the Sigma is in current production where as the Nikon isn't (I think)?
