to those who are waiting?  At any rate, I'm at home waiting on the FedEx man to bring my new-to-me D2X.  Sitting on the patio, I noticed this anole grabbing some weak afternoon sun on top of a brick pillar.  Not the best of shots, but hey!!  It's a critter and hopefully the start of things to come.

The foreground is a bit distracting, but you nailed the focus on the anole; great skin details.

Yeah, John, it's definitely one of my better anole shots, but I was just overjoyed that he let me get close and interrupt his sunning. Grin

Roy, just got my hands on it yesterday.  Gonna try to use it a little this afternoon after work.
