Bugguide.net seems to think so, at any rate.  These things are tiny and very reflective. 3-4mm, tops, so a couple of these are crops.  Tomorrow, I'll have a diopter with me.  Grin

Took the 'new' D2X for a spin after work and, after getting the images off the camera, I think it's been a while since the sensor has been cleaned.   Cheesy  I did the best I could but, until I can get an AC adapter in hand (one of the drawbacks of this old thing), the sensor cleaning will have to wait.

Yea that's one shinny beetle.  The overall lighting is nice on these, esp. the BG.
