I just shipped an antenna and bulkhead nut to a fellow photographer in Queensland, AU...$12 shipped to my house and $15 shipped to AU from TX USA.

I would love to help others out, but I'm too damn busy right now.

Roy - no problem, you wouldn't have a life if you started doing this for everyone in the UK or oveseas that wanted these. There's a few guys your side of the pond on the Olympus forum I use, so I'll ask nicely if anyone can assist.

Thanks

Can anyone help me to buy these antennas and bulkheads and send them in Germany? Shipment for 40$ is too much..((

I ordered for a guy in Australia...it was cheap...somewhere around $20 total...that for the shipping to my house and then shipping to Down Under.  If you can PayPal me, then I would be happy to do it for you.

Have any of you that have done the antenna mod experienced any effect on the images as discussed here?

I ordered 3 antennas. I was thinking of putting them on my 2 receivers first to see if that improves the range and reliability. I would hate to put one on my transmitter and have interference mess with image quality.

Thanks for posting this topic. I couldn't justify spending that much money yet for the PW's.  I just finished my antenna mod and it works great!  Even though I drilled straight, when you tighten down to nuts, my antenna ended up a little slanted....works fine, but lookwise it's a little off.  I'm going to do the flash ring next, but thinkin about using a mixing bowl due to it's mirrored reflective surface...One question though...would going bigger in dish size make a difference?  I'll be using the sb600? I'll post pics as I go...

Thanks again.

Awesome Steve...thanks for posting.  Maybe you have a plastic burr under your bulkhead nut making the antena slanted?

Ronald,

Thanks for joining and welcome.  I would have to see a close-up photo of the ckt board of the transmitter for the PT-04 to determine if it "could" work.

Hi all,
For an update on the currently popular radio triggers (post V2s) as of 2010, you can see my YouTube video that gives an overview of Cactus V4, Yongnuo, Pocketwizard, Radiopopper, and several other current brands.
Wireless Flash Triggers Compared

Hope you find it helpful.
