Is the first image a HDR blend?  The clouds lead the eye to the tree.  Nice work, Roy.

The first is an hdr blend...mostly hdr sky and about 50% HDR main tree trunk/ground 50% normal exposure and then the upper tree branches are only normal exposure to remove the HDR OOF due to the moving branches.

Second one was just for fun...I forgot to bring my computer remote shutter so I was stuck baby sitting 30sec exposures at ISO 200 and f/5...would have been much better at ISO 100, f/6.3, and about 4 minutes each frame.

Thanks John and Kenny!

Kenny...first few test shots today with the MP-E, 40D, and un-diffused MT-24EX...should be fun once I diffuse the 24EX and dial in some experience.
