The web worms have emerged.  Actually they are Eastern Tent Caterpillars.  Often confused with "bagworms".  These make their nest almost exclusively on Cherry and Apple trees.  I have a bunch of wild cherry type trees on my place so that's why they are here.  Was very pleased with this image.  Only nit is that I cut off the very left hand side of the hairs.  Oh well, can't have it all.

Canon T2i, Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 31mm extension tube, Canon MT-24EX Macro Twin Lites (half power both heads), handheld, EXIF embedded.

Thanks for looking and you know what to do.

Nice warm color here Tom.  I'm almost finished diffusing my MT-24EX and will be using it soon paired with a 40D and MP-E 65mm.

I'd say your were just splitting hairs, Tom (sorry for the bad pun).  Nice sharp image, interesting colors on the caterpillar.

Roy,   You need to post how you are diffusing the heads of the MT-24EX -- I am interested (I have been thinking of using a modified Gary Fong Puffer on each head, but I have not done anything yet.

John, I think he explains it on the videos at this link.  I haven't looked at them yet but it appears that it's what you are looking for.
