I think some of the more interesting colors and patterns are inside the tulip.

John, I'm jealous you have tulips already ! These are gorgeous macros-color & detail fabulous ! I have my macro lens all shined up & ready to go....35 degrees here in Vt today Sad

Thank you Patio127, and welcome to the forum.  Spring time is one of the best times here in north Texas - before the heat sets in.  The NE of the US got a heavy dose of winter this year.  Maybe spring will arrive in few weeks for you.
