I have been enjoying shooting with a long lens and tube(s) for a while and am considering making it permanent.  Got these yesterday morning in and around the neighborhood.

#1 No idea about an ID for this one

#2 A thread-waisted wasp of some sort

#3 Another un-ID'd wasp?  Maybe an ichneumon? Found them roosting in some tall grass on the TAMU campus near a creek

#4 A setwing

The setwing is tops, Kenny - excellent wing details.

Nice Kenny...last frame is great.  BTW, sold the MP-E and MT-24EX to a fella in BC.  So I'm going back to the old faithful 100/2.8 with the 40D and DIY Ring flash.
