Roy,
The format of the forum threads (the posts) appears to be a be off - the signature line/section appears to run over the subsequent posting (or the subsequent posting starts where the previous post's signature is located.
Screen resolution: 1900 x 1200
Browser name/version: Internet Explore 8.6001.18702
I do not see this issue if viewed with Firefox (version 3).
To really make you scratch your head: if I resize the window (go from full screen to a smaller window) the formatting problem goes away (even if I resize back to full screen).

John,
Thanks for letting me know. Hummm...I'm having a hard time following you. I've never seen this type of issue. Could you post a small screen shot of the area you are talking about?
Thanks

I'll try to remember to get a screen capture of it -- it does not happen all the time (and hence could quite likely be something with my system).

I got "lucky" and it happened again, and I remembered to get a screen capture.
The first image is the initial instance of the issue, the second is after I refreshed the screen, and the third is after a second screen refresh.

John,
I think I've found something. In your IE 8 version at the right of the URL box do you see a little icon that looks like a piece of paper torn in half? That's a compatibility toggle. I just started working on my new i7 Windows 7 64bit system with IE 8 and noticed today the same anomaly and clicked that compatibility icons and the signatures returned to normal. This must mean the forum engine/theme needs an update.

Roy, yes the IE 8 has the compatibility view button - next time I see the mis-aligned text/signatures I'll click on that and see if it fixes the issue (the mis-alignment does not happen every time - like right now everything is fine. That makes finding/debugging the problem all that much harder).

Right after I posted the above, the alignment issue showed up. Clicking the compatibility view button fixed it.

Yea, I need to update the version of the forum...I'll stake out and do this soon...because I don't have a DEV environment I have to put the forum in maintenance mode, back up the files, and back up the DB before I attempt an update.
